Ask yourself these 2 important questions to determine the urgency for getting your son help:
1. How long as a parent, do you remember when your son's "normal behavior" was happy and positive?
2. How long has it been that you had peace from not worrying about your son each day?
If your answer for either of the 2 questions is longer than 3 months, immediate treatment is recommended. Don't procrastinate getting help, because procrastination is the thief of time and progress, and will only worsen the situation.
