Sparkel started her career in medicine around 1999 as a Certified Nurses Assistant at RedCliffs Regional. After that, she spent some time at Dixie Regional Medical Center in the Special Care Nursery.
She then broadened her medical experience working as a Medical Assistant in Cardiology, Neurology and then in Pulmonary Medicine as a Pulmonary Technician. She has attended Mohave Community College and Dixie State College.
Sparkel has a passion for helping others and loves working with youth and being a positive influence. She is working on furthering her education in Substance Abuse/Mental Health counseling so she can better educate and help those who struggle with addiction and mental illness.
Sparkel is the oldest child of four. She has a sister and twin brothers, one of which was developmentally delayed. Which she attributes her compassion, patience and love of helping others. Sparkel is a mother of three amazing children, two girls and a boy.
Her oldest daughter is expecting in September, giving Sparkel the blessing of being a grandmother. She enjoys spending time with her family camping, hiking and being outdoors, exploring all the beauty of Southern Utah.
